Miss Northeast 2022 participants reach Nagaland

Kohima, Oct 26 (EMN): The grooming sessions for Northeast’s most prestigious pageant, Miss Northeast 2022, initiated by North East Beauty Pageant Organisation (NEBPO) and presented by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN), is underway.

An update from the organisers informed that the stunning top 15 state winners and 1st runners-up from all the eight north-eastern states landed Nagaland on Wednesday.

These young aspirants, who are now a step closer to bagging the coveted crown, were given a warm welcome by BASN officials at Hotel Vivor on Wednesday.

The mounting excitement is visible on the faces of all the top 15 state winners as they prepare to represent their home states at the grand finale of Miss Northeast.

The contestants will undergo eight days of grooming sessions before the grand finale scheduled to be held on Nov. 3 at Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima.

During the grooming session, the contestants will also be addressed by renowned resource persons including Theyiesinuo Keditsu (PhD), who is a poet, academic, writer and educator. She advocates the revival of indigenous Naga textiles, supermodel Ketholeno Kense Vhienuo and Dr. Sagar J. Abichandani, celebrity dentist and a well-known ‘Pageant Smile Expert’ including Femina Miss India.

A charity event to support children's home is also scheduled to be held on Oct. 29 outside Kohima Post Office followed by visits to various places across the state.
