Micro-observers trained for Tapi A/C polls

DIMAPUR — A training session for all micro-observers assigned to the 43  Tapi Assembly Constituency was held on October 28 at the DC conference hall in Mon.

The training was conducted by general observer MG Rajamanickam in collaboration with EAC and assistant returning officer (ARO) for 43  Tapi A/C, Tshelhi-u, T Imlongchaba Chang, and assistant expenditure observer (AEO) Nathan Konyak.

A DIPR report mentioned that during the session, Rajamanickam provided detailed briefings on the duties and responsibilities of the trainees and emphasised the importance of ensuring a free and fair election.

Also, he urged all trainees to closely monitor the functioning of the election machines during the electoral process.
