Lotha Football Championship: XI Brothers, ERSA, Friends Club register wins
DIMAPUR — Three teams — XI Brothers, ERSA and Friends Club — registered wins on fourth day of the ongoing Lotha Football Championship (LFC) organised by the Wokha District Football Association (WDFA).
In the first match of the day, XI Brothers crashed Young Boys 8-0 with Mhonthung scoring seven goals, his second hat-trick of the tournament and taking the goals scored so far to 11, while Wonrothung added a goal in the 67th minute, according to an update from WDFA.
In the second match, ERSA beat Lower Senchum 4-0. Mhademo scored two goals, while Eyingbemo and Yantsuthung scored a goal each for ERSA to seal the match.
The third match of the day played between NRSA and Vipers Club ended in a 1-1 draw, while Friends Club defeated Restoring Boys 3-2 in the last match.
Friends Club took the first lead, thanks to an own goal by Restoring Boys in the 50th minute, before Runghio and Renjamo scored a goal apiece to make the score card 3, while Ekonthung and Renbi scored a goal each for Restoring Boys.
