Legislators’ attaché forum organises football match
KOHIMA —The Personal Secretary (PS)/ Political Assistant (PA)/ Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and Public Relation Officer (PRO) Forum 2023-2028 of the Peoples’ Democratic Alliance (PDA) organised an introductory programme-cum-football match on Saturday.
The teams were divided into Minister Team, Advisor Team and MLA Team for the football match that was conducted earlier during the day at Kigwema village ground.
The welcome address was delivered by Neibalie Rio, chairman of the forum advisory board in the programme chaired by Nokcha Onkho.
Later in the evening, an introductory programme was held at Bamboo Hall Kisama, Naga Heritage Village with Kevipodi Sophie, MLA, as the special guest.
Hachio Patton, the forum’s advisor, said that this year’s event is the fourth edition and expressed delight that many members have joined the forum. He said the platform was formed with the objective to have better coordination to serve the legislators in Nagaland.
He encouraged the forum members to get to know each other better as they work to serve the people and also make the event a memorable one.
Aronto Jimo, convenor of the forum, informed that the objective of the programme is for “coordination matters only” so that the members get to know each other better.
In the evening session, the welcome address was delivered by Kechi Insing, the forum’s advisor, while the secretary’s report was presented by Rongsen Longkumer and vote of thanks proposed by Imchayanger.
The 15th NAP (IR) Mahila Band made a special appearance.
