Koinonia Baptist Church annual sports meet concludes

KOHIMA — The Koinonia Baptist Church’s annual sports meet that began on December 27, 2023, Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School (RGHSS), Kohima, at concluded on Thursday at Tsiesema Basa Ground.

An update from the Church informed that the annual event was held on the theme ‘Press Towards the goal’ with seven men's  teams and five women’s teams. The men’s teams included Koinonia Prayer Centre, Men's B, Men's A, Jr CYE A, Jr CYE B, Youth Department and Special XI and the women’s teams were Youth Women, Jr Cye, Prayer centre, Women Tenyidie and Women Nagamese.

It stated that the objective of the sports meet was to have fellowship in true spirit and to glorify God's name through sports.

The official referees for football and penalty shoot-out were Vizokholie Khrabvü, Khriesakeduo Khro, Kikruvilie Chietsü, Mhasilhoukho Chietsü and for cricket were Kepeo Solo, Alo Kath, Kereilhoulie Rülu, for volleyball Khrietuolie Üsou and Ketholelie Belho. Indoor games Vilakielie Kiewhuo and Asst. Pastor Menuosielie Üsou.
