Kohima Bible College set to celebrate golden jubilee
DIMAPUR — Kohima Bible College (KBC) is all set to celebrate its golden jubilee at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School (RGHSS) ground from November 21 to the 26th.
A press release issued by the organising committee informed that the six-day celebration would be held on the theme “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
The speakers of the celebration would be Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, founder and senior pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church and principal of Kohima Bible College; Rev. Dr. Vevozo Khamo, vice president of Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC); Rev. Dr. Putsato Naleo, founder president of Life Transforming Ministries; John Monger, founder and pastor of International Restoration Church Austin Texas, USA; Rev. Dr. Batkupar Dunai from Cathedral of Praise Now Generation Outreach Revival Assembly, Shillong, Meghalaya; and Rev. Dr. Mati Joseph, former registrar of Kohima Bible College (1974-1984).
Highlights of celebrations would include release of KBC golden jubilee souvenir, sharing and prayer with former members of the college. It stated that greetings would be delivered by Abei-ü Neihulie, president Kohima Bible College (KBC) at the inaugural programme.
It mentioned that Kohima Bible College (KBC) is the first charismatic bible college in Northeast India and the first bible college in Nagaland, which was started by late Rev. Neihulie Angami in 1972.
The celebration would include evening services at 4 pm.
It informed that Abei-ü Neihulie, president of Kohima Bible College (KBC), would dedicate the newly constructed Rev. David Oliver Nunn Memorial Boys Hostel at KBC campus on November 21. There would also be musical service at 10 am with the participation of members from various churches, institutions and individuals on November 25.
Meanwhile, organisers have informed all the invited guests and participants to register their names at the reception booth. It further informed that the programmes would be livestream on online platforms.
