- KOHIMA — Government
of Nagaland on Friday has appointed Kevekha Kevin Zehol as the new chairman of
the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).
- According to an official notification issued by the
Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department on April 11, Zehol's
appointment has been made under Regulation 5 of the Nagaland Staff Selection
Board Regulations, 2020. He will serve a term of three years or until he
reaches the age of 65, whichever comes earlier. The appointment would come into
effect from the date he assume charge.

- The terms and conditions of Zehol’s appointment will be
governed by Regulations 5 to 12 of the NSSB Regulations, 2020, the notification
stated.
- The order was issued by Dr. J Alam, Chief Secretary to the
Government of Nagaland.
- Zehol was the commissioner and secretary of Land Resources
prior to his appointment as chairman of NSSB.
