Keneilelie Sorünuo is the Mr Nagaland 2023

KOHIMA — Prominent body builder Keneilelie Sorünuo (aka Kenny Soru), was declared Mr Nagaland 2023 at an event held at Rhododendron Resort, Kisama, on Dec. 9.

Moamanen Tzudir and Bendangsunep Longkumer won second and third positions, respectively.

The three winners – Sorünuo, Tzudir and Longkumer – got through to the final of Mr Nagaland 2023, after winning in the 80kg, 75kg and 65kg categories, respectively.

Sorünuo won INR 50,000 along with citation.

In the women’s model physique (open) category, Lily Hashnu and Etsiben Ngullie, who were also the only participants in the women’s category, won first place and second, respectively. They both received cash award of INR 20,000 and INR 7000, respectively.

In the men’s physique (open), Moamanen Tzudir won the first place while Viena V Aye came second and Kikrukhrielie Dzeyie was placed third.

In the 80kg category Chingthai Phom and Kevisezuo Kire emerged second and third, respectively. In the 75kg category, Asoso James was placed second and Daniel Lotha won third position.

In 65 kg category, Nukshi Manen was palced second and Viena V Aye won third position.

The 5th edition of Mr Nagaland, fourth Men’s physique, and second Women’s physique championship was organised by the Nagaland Bodybuilding Fitness Association on the theme ‘Rethink-rebuild-reveal.’

Benei M Lamthiu, MLA, was the special guest of the event.
