Kohima, Oct 25 (EMN): Meriema BC outplayed Chiephobozou BC 2-0 on Tuesday to advance to the round of the Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) Jubilee Trophy played at Meriema ground in Kohima.
In the first match, the winning goals for Meriema BC came through the boots of Kekhriengulie Üsou in the 23rd minute and Thejasetuo Keditsu added another goal in the 58th minute.
Meanwhile, owing to the inclement weather, the second match between Koinonia ‘A’ and Koinonia ‘B’ was postponed to October 26 at 9 am.
The other matches on October 26 are between CR Mission Church and CRC Pezielietsie at 11 am and, Chiechama BC and Tsiesema Baptist Church at 1 pm.
