Indian Railways Rail Bhoomi Crossing Seva introduces 2 cases in NFR
Indian Railways Rail Bhoomi Crossing Seva has for the first time introduced 2 cases in NFR
For the first time, the Tinsukia Division under Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has sanctioned two cases of way-leave applications using the Indian Railways Rail Bhoomi Crossing Seva (IR-RBCS) system on Feb. 7.
An update from the NFR issued on Feb. 8 informed that the 2 cases of way-leave applications were submitted by Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL) for the Gas/Oil Pipeline in Simalguri – Mahutgaon and Mezenga – Namtiali sections.
IR-RBCS is a web based application for Way-Leave Easement Rights provided by Indian Railways under the IRCEP Portal. This facility is said to have been provided to fast-track way-leave applications and sanctions, in a totally digital manner.
Application for grant of land leasing/licensing and way leave permissions shall be submitted on respective online portals only while approval shall be granted online.
‘This policy enables integrated development of infrastructure aligned with PM Gati Shakti framework and to attract more cargo to rail, the extant policy for leasing, licensing and Right of Way (ROW) of railway land has been simplified,’ the update informed.
Infrastructure for all public service utilities viz. electricity, gas, water supply, telecom cable, sewage disposal, drains, optical fibre cables (OFC), pipelines, roads, flyovers, bus terminals, regional rail transport, urban transport and any other such infrastructure are said to be permitted.
All the stakeholders can visit the website ircep.gov.in and avail the facilities under the way-leave applications using the Indian Railways Rail Bhoomi Crossing Seva.
