Noklak, June 7 (EMN): Advisor of Prisons, Printing and Stationery, H Haiying, on Tuesday highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, stated that far-flung districts such as Noklak, which are located at the international border have benefitted from such programmes.
Addressing media persons, Haiying appreciated the government of India for its people’s centric initiatives and added that people in Noklak have benefitted largely. Haiying said under the Antyodaya, the people were provided with free food grains while under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and PM Awas Yojana both urban and rural people were benefited with housing facilities.
Under Jal Jeevan Mission, he stated that household water taps were being provided to the people, while under health and pandemic management, people from Noklak were receiving free treatment under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Besides the Ayushman card, he stated the citizens were also fortunate to receive vaccines and medicines under Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
He also maintained that the Modi government is ensuring farmers welfare by providing kisan credit cards. He added that under PM Ujjwala Yojana, liquified petroleum gas (LPG) connections were provided to women besides providing opportunities to women by linking with bank Jan Dhan accounts.
During the celebration of the 15 days, the karyakartas were told to initiate cleaning of various healthcare centres, places of worship, along with tree plantations.
Haiying further informed that over 3500 beneficiaries from Noklak district alone have benefitted from various government programmes.
