Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN): After winning Google Play and Apple Store's game of the year awards for 2020, Genshin Impact has become one of 2020's breakout games of the year. Nearly a month into its first significant update, Version 1.1, players are gearing up for the next big update that is confirmed to drop on December 23.

Update 1.2 will definitely bring some much-needed quality of life changes to the game and possibly a new playable region, Dragonspine. However, over on Twitter, NEP NEP Genshin Impact Leaks has tweeted on their page that players will likely see new bosses and unique enemies in the new region.

The leaked map shows three icons (Genshin Impact enemy encounters) circled indicating potential new bosses for players to fight. One of the bosses have been shown in the leaked images and it looks like a different form of Cryo Regisvine.

The right circled icon has some fans speculating that it could be a fire version of an Oceanid. An Oceanid in Genshin Impact is one of the most difficult bosses to fight right now. A new 'Pyro' version of an Oceanid boss could offer an exciting and challenging fight for players. It could also mean that players may need entirely new upgrade materials.

Genshin Impact is available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play for mobile platforms. It is also available for PC and the PS4. A Nintendo Switch is also reportedly under development.
