Euphoria band members to perform at Bosco Fest 2024

DIMAPUR — ‘Bosco Fest Nagaland 2024’ is set to take the people of Dimapur to a trip down nostalgic lane with celebrated singers Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Dr. Palash Sen of Euphoria band, who will be performing an array of Indian music of the 90s at the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School ground in Dimapur on January 7, 2024. Along with them, Lenen Jamir, would also performed on that day. 

This was announced by president of Don Bosco Alumni Dimapur, Imti Imsong, and a past pupil of Don Bosco, Kolkata, Manishankar Das, during a press conference held at the office of Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) on Wednesday.

The ‘Bosco Fest Nagaland’ is being organised by the Don Bosco Alumni Dimapur, in collaboration with the DNSU, with an objective to “empower, lead and revolutionise.”

DNSU president, Moayanger Jamir, informed that the motive behind the DNSU collaborating with the Bosco Alumni Association was because of the holistic concept for the welfare of the students adding that the centralised idea was focused on academic as well as health sector.

“The holistic objective of the event is youth empowerment and we will be empowering the youth through multiple services which include personality development, career consultancy, career guidance and higher education consultancy,” Das said.

He added that the past people have some plans to roll out with regards to health through multiple fitness camps. The money generated from the fest would go towards youth empowerment activities, he informed.

Das, who is also part of the organising committee, elucidated that the Don Bosco’s extensive network of schools and youth centres across the country is into community development.

“Each region is trying to come up with something to develop the community. So this fest is certainly for Nagaland by the Don Bosco Alumni Dimapur,” he maintained.

Imsong informed that the VIP ticket holders will have the chance to participate in meet-and-greet opportunities with the artistes backstage. He assured that the fest would be like a carnival with food, music and old friends.

The tickets are priced at INR 2999 for platinum (seated); INR 1999 for gold (seated); INR 999 for silver (seated); and INR 499 for bronze (standing).

The gate of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School ground in Dimapur would open at 12 noon and the concert will start at 4:30 pm till 10 pm.  The tickets will be available at MyTvShow and Paytm insider.
