DIMAPUR — The Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union, Bengaluru (ENSUB), held its 19th freshers’ meet on September 30 at India Campus Crusade for Christ, Bengaluru, with the theme ‘beauty of our roots: re-imagining traditions’.
According to an ENSUB press release, the event was attended by Lovekesh Phasu, group chief operating officer, Sakra World Hospital, Bengaluru, as the special guest.
During his speech, Phasu emphasised the importance of not forgetting the roots and encouraged the eastern Nagas in Bengaluru to celebrate their rich cultures, traditions, and values despite the changing world and advancement.
Samson of the Khiamniungan tribe and Lily of the Konyak tribe were crowned Mr. and Miss Freshers, respectively, during the event.
Following the programme, a general meeting of ENSUB was held.
