DIMAPUR — A farewell programme was organised by the District Public Relations Office (DPRO) staff for the outgoing district public relations officer, Dimapur, Lolano Patton, on Wednesday at its office in Dimapur.
During her farewell speech, Patton said that throughout her professional journey, she had worked with nine DCs, and there was not a single instance where complaints were received against the DPRO office staff during her tenure. She attributed this great accomplishment to the staff, according to a DIPR report.
She thanked the staff for being the backbone of her leadership, offering unwavering support with sincerity, dedication, and punctuality while meeting every deadline despite the limited resources at their disposal.
Shared memories, particularly from the COVID pandemic, she described the challenging tasks she successfully undertook, including spending sleepless nights at the train station during the arrival of returnees.
She encouraged everyone to continue working as a team with collective effort and unity to overcome challenges and celebrate achievements together.
