Dimapur, April 11 (EMN): After weeks of speculation following the news of Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng's departure from OG, the team has announced the return of Anathan "Ana" Pham to its Dota 2 roster.

Ana is widely regarded as one of the greatest carry players of all time after winning back-to-back TIs with OG in 2018 and 2019. Following the victory in the grand finals of The International 2019 (TI 9), Ana announced that he will be taking a year-long break from Dota 2. It was confirmed that Ana would not be participating in The International 10.

However, the Covid-19 pandemic brought complications to The International 10 and it was subsequently cancelled.

After Ana's departure, OG recruited high profile Dota 2 players like former TI champion Syed Sumail "Suma1l" Hassan and the aforementioned Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng to fill the void. However, OG didn't seem to get the combinations correct and it felt like the team was missing something.

Following a disappointing performance in the first season of the Dota Pro Circuit and the news of Midone's departure, it became obvious that OG needed someone like Ana to help them in the upcoming DPC Season 2.

OG's prayers were answered with the announcement of its legendary carry player back into the roster. Ana's return will probably make OG favourites to win The International three times in a row.

One thing is certain though, the Dota 2 community is excited to see one of its greatest carry players back in the Esports scene once again.
