Department of Technical Education notifies on scholarship

DIMAPUR — The department of Technical Education informed students who have applied for post-matric (PMS) and merit-cum-means (MCM) based scholarships, under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, that only those who have updated their place of biometric authentication and uploaded the necessary documents in the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) may report to the Technical Education department office in person on September 7 and 8.

According to a DIPR report, it also informed that technical glitches and errors while updating the state and district in NSP are being addressed by the ministry.

Regarding the ongoing biometric authentication exercise, it said that all information and updates on the PMS and MCM schemes related to the exercise will be disseminated from now on via the Directorate of Technical Education website, dtenagaland.org.in, under the notification section.

Students have been advised to check the said website regularly until the exercise is completed.
