DCs and DEOs inform on disbursement of hiring charges for vehicles

DIMAPUR — Deputy commissioners (DCs) and district election officers (DEOs) across Nagaland have informed vehicle owners and drivers about the disbursement schedule for hiring and halting charges for private vehicles requisitioned during the recently conducted general election to the 18th Lok Sabha.

Kiphire: Temsuwati Longkumer, the DC and DEO of Kiphire, informed that the disbursement of hiring and halting charges for private vehicles requisitioned within Kiphire Hq. and Seyochung sub-division will take place from April 24 to the 26th at the DC and DEO office, between 10 am and 3 pm.

For private vehicles requisitioned within Pungro sub-division, the disbursement will also occur on the same dates and at the same location. A requisition order will be necessary during the disbursement process, according to a DIPR report.

Phek: SDO  and nodal officer, Transport Management Cell, Phek, Tsenthungo E Ngullie, stated that the hiring charges of private vehicles requisitioned and utilised for Phek district will be disbursed at the DC office, Phek (Transport Cell), from April 23 to the 26th during office hours.

Vehicle owners and drivers may collect the same by presenting the requisition order and ID card.

Mon: DC and DEO Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, notified that payment for hiring and halting charges for all private vehicles engaged for election duty under Mon district will be released from April 25 to the 30th.

All concerned have been informed to collect dues from the office of the DC and DEO on the mentioned dates during office hours by presenting the requisition order and duty detailment order in original.

Longleng: DC and DEO Longleng informed that hiring and halting charges will be disbursed from the office of DC and DEO Longleng on April 25 and 26 during office hours.

All parties concerned are required to produce the requisition order and vehicle duty detailment order while claiming the payment.

Noklak: DC and DEO Noklak, Arikumba, has stated that payment of vehicle hiring and halting charges will be disbursed on April 24 and 25 at the office of the DC and DEO Noklak during office hours.

Further, he requested that all concerned collect the payment by producing a copy of the requisition order and duty detailment slip signed by the officer in charge, along with vehicle registration ID/proof.

Chümoukedima: The DC and DEO of Chümoukedima announced that payments for hiring and halting charges for private vehicles engaged for election duty within the district will be released from the DC and DEO office during office hours. The scheduled dates for payment are as follows: For auto-rickshaws, Maruti Suzuki Alto, and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, the dates are April 26 and 27. For Tata Sumo, Maruti Suzuki Eeco, Force Traveller, and Tata Winger, the date is April 29. For pick-up trucks (T/Mobile, Tata Yodha, and Maruti Super Carry) and buses, the payment date is April 30.

All concerned have been informed to collect the dues by producing the requisition order and duty detailment order in original.

Dimapur: The DC and DEO of Dimapur have notified that the hiring and halting charges for vehicles deployed on election duty will be disbursed from the office of the DC and DEO Dimapur, Transport Cell (top floor), on April 29 from 10 am to 4 pm for Alfa Auto, Tata Ace, and Tata Magic. The disbursement will continue on April 30 from 10 am to 4 pm for Tata Sumo, Tata Yodha, Tata Mobile, Maruti Suzuki Alto, buses, and Tata Winger.

The payment shall be entertained only upon the production of the original requisitioned order and duty slip.
