DIMAPUR — The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) has taken umbrage to what it termed the “disparaging words” against the council by Minister for Higher Education and Tourism, Temjen Imna Along, during in his speech at National Youth Peace Convention held at Chümoukedima on October 1.
The council in a press release said that it is very unfortunate that the minister “chose to mock his own family while calling for Naga unity.”

“For those elected leaders feigning ignorance about CNTC formation and existence despite having attended meetings called by CNTC, we will be reaching out to refresh the memories in order to grow together as a family and work towards the unity of the Naga society as desired by every right-thinking people,” the CNTC said.
