DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio hosted a celebratory dinner at Nagaland House in New Delhi on Tuesday to honour the achievement of the Nagaland Madrigal Singers.
The choir, led by Hito Kiho, recently returned triumphant from the 13th World Choir Games held in Auckland, New Zealand, where they clinched two gold medals.
The dinner, hosted by CM Rio and his wife, Kaisa Rio, saw the presence of prominent figures including Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, Minister for Tourism and Higher Education Temjen Imna Along, Advisor for Agriculture Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor for School Education Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, and Advisor for Industries & Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu. Chairman of IDAN, Abu Metha, and Chairman of TaFMA, Theja Meru, were also in attendance, according to an update.
