DIMAPUR — The BJP Kohima district unit commenced its district tour on Monday at the party’s district office.
Addressing the karyakartas on the occasion, Temjen Imna Along, legislator in charge of the district and Minister of Tourism and Higher Education, emphasised the importance of all BJP workers adhering to the core values of ‘Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas, Sab Ka Vishwas, and Sab Ka Prayas’ and urged party workers to be resilient in their faith while remaining assertive in the organisation.
Phangnon Konyak, MP of Rajya Sabha, state vice president and Kohima district incharge, urged the karyakartas to focus on strengthening the organisation at the booth level, stating that their efforts and activities should be reflected in the booth’s strength.
She also urged the members to educate the villagers about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s various flagship programmes and schemes, as well as encourage them to take advantage of their benefits, to achieve scheme saturation.
Akum Pongen, the state’s co-chief spokesperson and co-incharge, urged all district members involved in the Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana and Booth Sashakti Karan Committees to become more active as the Lok Sabha election approaches.
