Beef Biryani Recipe of ‘Birynai Corner’

Proprietor Echen Amer who opened ‘Biryani Corner’ in the year 2013 is a food enthusiast and credits his mother as the ‘biggest inspiration’ for his achievements.

Beef Biryani Recipe (Serves 4)


Beef (500Gms)
Good quality basmati Rice (500 gms)
Onions big (3 Nos)
Green chillies (5 nos)
Ginger garlic paste (2 tsp)
Tomatoes chopped (2 nos)
Garam masala (2 tsp)
Ghee (4-5tsp)
Haldi (half tsp)
Bay leaves (2-3 nos)
Few Cardamon and cloves
Salt to taste
Water as required for boiling rice

Step 1. Boil Rice in salty water, drain it with half cooked.
Step 2 Sauteonion with ghee in a thick vessel or a pressure cooker.
Step 3 Add green chilly, Ginger garlic paste, Garam Masala, Haldi, Bay leaf, Chopped Tomatoes, cardamom and the cloves, Salt as required.
Step 4 Add beef and cook it until it’s done well.
Step 5 About a cup of water should be left in the vessel. Now add the half cooked rice and mix well.
Step 6 Now simmer in low flame and let the rice cook.
Step 7 Serve it hot.

Note: The flavour and the taste of the Biryani very much depend on the quality of Rice used. Beef Biryani goes very well raita and green Salad of Chutni.
