The 4th Autumn Festival at Nagaland House, New Delhi, celebrated Nagaland’s culture, heritage, and traditions with dignitaries in attendance.

DIMAPUR — The 4th edition of Autumn Festival, a prelude to Nagaland’s iconic Hornbill Festival, got underway on Friday at the lawns of Nagaland House, New Delhi.
An update informed that guests and visitors thronged the venue to celebrate and experience the vibrant culture and heritage of Nagaland.
Organised by the state’s Tourism department—in collaboration with the Principal Resident Commissioner’s Office, Nagaland House, and supported by the Union Ministry of Tourism—the two-day festival runs on October 24 and 25.
The inaugural programme was graced by Kapil Mishra, Minister for Tourism, Art and Culture, Government of NCT Delhi, as the chief guest, with Chavanart Thangsuphant, Ambassador of Thailand to India, as the honoured guest.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, also attended the function.
Addressing the gathering, Kapil Mishra described the relationship between Delhi and Nagaland as akin to that of brothers. He expressed his desire to organise an annual festival celebrating Nagaland’s culture in collaboration with Delhi Tourism in the future.
Temjen Imna Along, Nagaland Minister of Tourism and Higher Education, extended an invitation to all to visit Nagaland and experience the unique heritage of the Naga people.
During a press interaction, he noted that the festival is not just a tribal event but a truly unique cultural experience, and reassured visitors that obtaining an Inner Line Permit is now easier through online applications.
