Kohima, June 11 (EMN): In a first of its kind, All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA), Kohima headquarters, has felicitated the HSLC and HSSLC toppers and division holders of children from among its members, which was recently declared by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE).
A felicitation programme was held at Hotel Crescent International, Kohima, where a total of 31 students were honoured with cash reward and a citation.
Speaking on the occasion, the unit president, Dziesevituo Solo, congratulated all the successful candidates. Solo also exhorted the students to remain humble and place God first in life to achieve success in life. He also reminded the students to work hard and value the sacrifices made by their parents in their pursuit to become successful in life.
Meanwhile, Meyieho Hibo, unit general secretary, congratulated the students and advised them not to be proud of their feat but work harder and repay the sacrifices made by their parents. He has called upon the students to strive harder and bring laurels to the ANTA family.
Speeches were also delivered by the parents, wherein they have acknowledged ANTA for the initiative in encouraging the students.
On the occasion, three toppers namely Tokabo Katty, HSSLC 5th topper in Arts; Keweko Mero, HSLC 17 topper; and Tsuwunaro Jamir, HSLC 20 topper; along with other first division holders were felicitated on the occasion.
The three toppers were rewarded with INR 10, 000 and citation, while the first division holders were awarded with INR 5000 and citation.
