Dimapur, Dec. 30 (EMN): Continuing with his tirade against ‘proxy culture’ in the government educational institutions, advisor of School Education K Tokugha Sukhalu beseeched the stakeholders to revamp the regulations in order to provide quality education to the students by qualified and trained teachers.

Sukhalu stated this during the golden jubilee celebration of Baimho Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (BKK) in Zunheboto district as the guest speaker on December 29. He exhorted the students to be ambitious in their academic career to pursue excellence and focus on the competitive examinations. He also encouraged students to adapt the quality of being bibliophile and minimise the usages of social media platforms so as to garner the art of perceiving the subject rather than relying on memorisation.

He also requested the parents to understand the potentialities of their children and help them achieve their dreams instead of dictating their desires upon the children.

Sukhalu further also exhorted the women to be outspoken and participate in any platforms at the pace of menfolk instead of resorting to traditional patriarchal societal norms.

The advisor was accompanied by the NDPP workers from the central, Zunheboto region, 35 Zunheboto AC and various civil societies under Zunheboto area such as ZAPO, ZRSU, STH (Zunheboto area) and ZTKK.
