Nagaland: Advisor Khamo felicitates achievers from Chozuba

KOHIMA – Advisor of CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, on June 5, felicitated student toppers and wrestling medalist, Vekhonielu Curhah, from 18 Chozuba AC during a programme held at his residence in Kohima.

NBSE toppers namely Metsilu Swiho (HSLC Top 7b), Arolu Phesao (HSLC Top 9c), Elu Thelu-o (HSLC Top 15c), and Vetolu Yomi (HSLC Top 18a) and bronze medalist of the United World Wrestling (UWW) belt wrestling Asian championship 2023, Vekhonielu Curhah, held at Jizzakh in Uzbekistan were felicitated during the programme.

Speaking the programme, Khamo congratulated the achievers that stated that their achievement was an inspiration to many. He told them to be role models for others not only in their studies but throughout their life.

He added that the feat Vekhonielu Curhah has brought for the Nagas, the first lady among the Naga to win the medal, was a huge accomplishment. He wished her well even in the days to come.

The advisor told the student toppers that their achievement was a blessing of God and lauded them for making their families and the Chakhesang community proud. He advised them to put God first in their life and to prayerfully choose their career to let God intervene in their endeavours.

Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, senior pastor of CBCKMH, has appreciated the advisor and family for the initiative to encourage achievers. He also advised the students to fear God and be aggressive in their studies by keeping a healthy body and to maintain a godly life.
