5203 persons get Covishield in Nagaland till date

Kohima, Jan. 25 (EMN): As many as 723 healthcare workers from the state were inoculated with Covishield vaccine on Monday, taking the total number of vaccinated persons in the state to 5203.
An update from the state immunisation officer, Dr. Ritu Thurr, informed that Covid vaccination drive was carried out at 20 session sites in nine districts and that there were no adverse events which needed medical treatment following immunisation.
It stated that there will not be Covid-19 vaccination sessions on the occasion of Republic Day, January 26, but the vaccination drive will continue in the state during the designated days in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the official updated that 16, 15,504 healthcare workers have been vaccinated across the country with Covishield and Covaxin vaccines so far.
