Four Nagaland cops to be awarded on Indian Republic Day 2023

Kohima, Jan. 25 (EMN): As India celebrates its 74th Republic Day on January 26, three Nagaland police officers and one from Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) will be conferred with various awards on the occasion.
This was announced by the union Ministry of Home Affairs Police-I Division New Delhi on January 25.
The President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service will be conferred to Etssimongo Ngullie, DIG (Range), Mokokchung, Nagaland, along with 92 others in the country on Thursday.
The Police Medal for Meritorious Service will be conferred to Israel G Xuivi. DY.COMDT, 6th NAP BN Tizit, Nagaland and Abel Jonsou Humtsoe, UB Inspector INT HQ Kohima, Nagaland. A total of 668 police personnel in the country will be awarded in this category.
Another officer, Zhasalie Napranotsu, Deputy SP (F&ES) from Nagaland, will also be awarded Fire Service Medals on Republic Day.
On the occasion, Home Guards and Civil Defence medals will also be awarded to home guards and civil defence personnel.
