He appreciated the chief minister, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, whose consistent leadership over many years, he said, has given stability to the state and continuity to iconic initiatives such as the Hornbill Festival and entrepreneurship side by side with governance reformation and enabling the government to gain national as well as international recognition, while creating new avenues of livelihood for the people, especially the youth.
Dr. Sukhato also stated that the Dimapur Night Carnival is not only a celebration but also an economical and social platform where small businesses, self-help groups, musicians and artisans can learn networking and grow in a safe, festive environment.
