ZWUD holds get together programme

The Zapami Welfare Union Dimapur (ZWUD) has organised its annual get together programme in commemoration with Tsukhenye festival celebration on April 25 in the residence of Director SAMETI & Principal IETC, Nguzonyi Wetsah.
Citizens of Zapami from in and around of Dimapur, who attended the programme have experienced the feelings of the festivities. Kedutsolo Wetsah , advisor of the union in his exhortation, has urged the gathering to uphold the good virtues of honesty and hardworking and protect the rich cultural heritage of the community.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of Geology and Mining, Senowekha Kenye, has termed Dimapur as the land of opportunities and called upon the members to shoulder the responsibilities to make the best use of it.“Everyone has been equally given 86400 Seconds a day whether rich or poor, the only difference is how you make the use of it,” he said. Stating that the future tomorrow is built on our present efforts, he has advised the members to count every second as he said there is no shortcut to good life tomorrow.
Nguzonyi Wetsah, host of the programme, has stressed on the need of “Being more responsible” in the approach towards the community.
He said that the basic idea of coming together is to know each other better and to support each other. He also said that quick information and immediate response in distress or need should be the responsibilities of each member.
The programme was chaired by Kennedy Khutsoh, president ZWUD, and the invocation prayer was said by Keduzu Kreo, Advisor ZWUD and head deacon of Bade Baptist Church.
