DIMAPUR — The monthly Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting-cum-board member’s picnic was held at Arkha’s Farm on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of board chairman and Advisor for Land Resources, G Ikuto Zhimomi.
The board chairman, in his address, on behalf of all the seven legislatures of the district, thanked all the HoDs, other officers and government employees for their sincere cooperation for the smooth process and conduct of the elections, a DIPR report stated.
Zhimomi also highlighted about the forthcoming ULB elections in the state and the district, and appealed to HoDs for of their cooperation.
The meeting commenced with a welcome note by vice chairman DPDB and deputy commissioner of Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali. The DC expressed gratitude to all the HoDs and members for the successful conduct of the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The meeting further discussed on the lone agenda, which was a proposal forwarded by ADC Satakha for establishment of sub-post office at Satakha sub-division. The board agreed on the proposal and decided to forward it to the concerned authority.
The meetings culminated with a briefing from the chairman about the World Environment Day on June 5. In this regard, Zhimomi requested the HoDs for their support in whatever ways possible.
