Dimapur, May 2 (EMN): Zunheboto Deputy Commissioner Peter Lichamo on Saturday dedicated an ambulance that was received through the initiative of the government under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
The ambulance, which reached the district on May 1, was dedicated with a prayer programme at Hezükhu Memorial District Hospital, an update from DPRO informed.
Addressing to the gathering attended by frontline workers, public leaders and heads of departments, the DC appealed to the department concerned to make use of the ambulance service with utmost sincerity, benefiting the general to the fullest and to yield blessings through it.
Expressing appreciation to government for making the service possible at the district, he also gave credit to Advisor School Education K T Sükhalu for making it possible at the earliest and added that the district shall remain thankful.
Keys of the ambulance which was handed over by the DC was jointly received by MS and CMO, Zunheboto.
