Zunheboto District Open Volleyball Trophy kicks off

Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): The 43rd Zunheboto District Open Volleyball Running Trophy organised by Black Panthers Club, Akuluto kicked off at BPC ground (Akuluto) with DC of Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo as special guest on Oct. 13.

Speaking at the event, Lichamo urged the participants to maintain a disciplined attitude, which is also the most important attribute in the field of sports. Being a sincere sportsperson also adds to living a healthy life, physically and mentally, he said. The DC also congratulated the event organisers for continuously organising the prestigious tournament since its inception, an update stated.

All together 16 teams are vying for the coveted trophy which will culminate on Oct. 15, it said.
