Dimapur, August 11 (EMN): The Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZTSBC) organised on August 11 a ‘special thanksgiving’ programme. A note on Sunday informed that the programme started with a prayer and music. ‘Words of thanks’ were delivered by Ghokiye Jimomi, chairman of the deacons’ council, the updates stated.
‘He thanked all the church staffs and members for always being active in all their works all the time. He also thanked God for everything that he has given us and thanked everyone who is working for our Almighty God,’ the note stated. The church’s choir, youth and others sang during the event.
Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, pastor of the ZTSBC, delivered the Word of God to the mass. The note stated: “He thanked God for everything that he has given us and encouraged the mass to make wise use of what God has gifted us, Giving example from the Holy Bible he said that everybody in this world has different talents gifted by God and that people should know how to make right use of it and God will bless us more.”
Later, gifts were distributed to the ‘mass.’ A special thanksgiving prayer was said by associate pastor Khehoto Yeptho, the note stated.
