Zunheboto administration prohibits construction without permit

Dimapur, Aug. 27 (EMN): The district administration of Zunheboto district has banned construction of buildings that are without permit.

The government publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR), gave updates on August 27 informing about the order.

The establishment of Additional Deputy Commissioner Ajit K Ranjan has issued an order stating that several instances of construction of buildings and ‘shops’ without due permit have come to the notice of the Zunheboto Town Council. Such construction is not only illegal but also detrimental to planned development of the town, the administration stated.

Ranjan is also the administrator of the Zunheboto Town Council, the IPR mentioned.

“Therefore all such constructions without permit have been directed to stop and to apply for construction permit from the town council within five days from the issue of this order ie., on or before 30th August 2019. Any violation of this order shall attract penalty as prescribed by the Town Council,” the IPR stated.
