Dimapur, Aug. 27 (EMN): The Zeliangrong Students' Union Nagaland (ZSUN) has reiterated its appeal to all the private educational institutions under Peren district to consider and give schools fee concession.
ZSUN also called upon the institutions to join hands in the fight against Covid-19, empathise with the parents to ease their financial burdened on humanitarian ground amid this global pandemic.
"ZSUN is aware that the decision to reduce school fees may affect schools' revenue considering the expenditure of teachers' salary and other cases; however, we prayed that the educational institutions would also understand the parents who are overburdened and struggling with their job," it stated.
The union expressed hope that the institutions look into those parents in genuine distress case and considered on individual basis for school fee reduction.
It further appealed to the state education department to work towards the best interest of schools and parents.
