Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): The Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland (ZSUN) has extended its support to the ultimatum served by the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) and Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) to the chief secretary, Government of Nagaland on September 2, demanding justice for the aggrieved teachers.
‘The agreement signed between the government of Nagaland, NSF, ENSF and NSSATA (2010 and 13) on June 12, 2018, which have lapsed for more than two years, whereby the aggrieved teachers could have been mainstreamed into the state cadre, but the state government has failed to address till date,’ the union stated on Wednesday.
The ZSUN opined that “justice delayed is justice denied”.
The union appealed to the state government to fulfill the genuine demand of the aggrieved teachers without further delay.
While appreciating the two apex students’ body, the NSF and the ENSF for intervening into the issue, for the welfare of the student community, the ZSUN affirmed its support to the two federations.
