ZPO to re-organise into unified body

The decision to re-organise ZPO was taken during a consultative meeting of the two ZPO groups held on August 13 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur, under the chairmanship of Namri Nchang, Advisor. A press release issued by Pausui Zeliang, press secretary to chief minister, stated that an interim committee for re-organisation of ZPO was also formed with Ramdi Meru as convenor, Kezun Ndachung as co-convenor, along with Joseph Nring, Gaigwang Hegru, D Diswang Zeme as members. The interim committee has been asked to finish the re-organising process by October 31. He further informed that all subordinate bodies of ZPO would ceased to exist with immediate effect. The meeting was attended by many senior leaders of Peren district.
