DIMAPUR — Zone Niathu by The Park, Chümoukedima, is set to host one of the grandest New Year Eve’s celebrations.

The celebration will witness performances by international DJane Ofra, singer Monalisa from Mumbai and also feature artistes from Nagaland including DJ Lil’ Bomb and host Mengu Suokhrie.

Addressing a press meet at Zone Niathu by The Park on Saturday, DJane Ofra said that she is back in India after six years and that she has prepared some surprise for the crowd.

She also shared that she agreed to come and perform in Nagaland because the response of the people from the state was “very great” when she performed last time in India.

Monalisa said that she is looking forward to a “blasting show.” DJ Lil’Bomb also shared that he is excited and looking forward to having a good time.

General Manager of Zone Niathu, T Bobby, said Nagaland and the Northeast as a whole has lots of hidden talents and that these artistes just need a platform to expose their talents to the world.

He said that Nagaland’s love for music is no secret and so they thought that organising an event with a combination of international, national and local artistes, would be the best way to celebrate New Year’s Eve and welcome the New Year.

The celebration will also include unlimited food, soft beverages, live snacks counter, dinner buffet, bonfire and giveaway coupons.
