Dimapur, April 5 (EMN): Advisor for Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs, Zhaleo Rio on Monday reminded the District Task Force Dimapur to ‘strengthen Covid-19 management protocols and not to be complacent.’
Zhaleo Rio, who is also the chairman of District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Dimapur, was addressing the DPDB meeting for April at the DCs conference Hall in Dimapur, an update form DPRO informed.
The chairman also requested the legislators of Dimapur district to attend DPDB meetings and added, "Let us continue to be torch bearers to the officers."
Further, Zhaleo reminded that the DPDB meeting was a common platform for sharing views and opinions for the betterment of the district. "Feel free and share the activities, achievements and even failures of your department during DPDB meeting," he said.
Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan appealed to all the HODs to be “ready and be mentally prepared for fighting the second wave of Covid-19, considering the fact that Dimapur was the main transit district for travellers.”
He informed that DTF DImapur would start enforcement of Covid 19 protocols again on daily basis and directed DMC for ensuring that all shopkeepers observe Covid 19 protocols.
It said that Aghunaka had been selected as the aspirational block under Dimapur district. The DC informed that a committee would be constituted at the earliest and notifications would be issued.
The house also approved to the higher authority with regard to opening of new schools namely Rising Montessori School Toulazouma village, Dimapur, Sunrise pre-school 7th Mile Chumoukedima, upgradation of Riverine school Thilixu village Dimapur and Quest Fulfill School Model colony Purana bazaar DImapur.
Shifting of Ebenezer High School Dhansiripar to Selouphe village and Logos School from Sovima F Khel to Kuda Nagarjan B Khel was also deliberated and approved by the board to the higher authority.
