DIMAPUR — Advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, has appealed to the party men and women to exhibit loyalty and dedication by ensuring resounding victory to the People's Democratic Alliance (PDA) consensus candidate, Dr. Chumben Murry, in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Speaking at the coordination meeting of the NDPP 5-Ghaspani-II AC held at his private residence in Sovima village on Wednesday, Zhaleo Rio appealed to the party workers to give their best and share the party policies/ programmes and achievements to the voters during the campaign.
He stated that it is an opportunity for party men and women to exhibit their loyalty and dedication to the party by ensuring a resounding victory to the consensus candidate, Dr. Chumben Murry, stated an update from NDPP 5-Ghaspani-II AC.
He also cautioned the party workers not to fall prey to the false promises and propagandas created by opposition candidates. He proudly declared that the PDA candidate has the support of all the 60 MLAs and political parties including independent candidate, who have declared to wholeheartedly support the consensus candidate of PDA under the opposition-less government headed by Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio.
The meeting, after thorough deliberation, constituted an assembly constituency election committee headed by Zhaleo Rio, and election campaign committee led by Miathou Krose, advisor of CEB, NDPP, as campaign director along with senior party leaders as star campaigners for effective and smooth election campaign.
Report stated that party functionaries and village unit representatives of NDPP under 5 Ghaspani II AC numbering about 200 along with central leadership attended the coordination meeting.
