Zeliangrong to observe ‘Prayer Day’

Newmai News Network IMPHAL, February 11 [dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Zeliangrong ‘prayer day’ will be held on the last Sunday of February every year to seek the blessings of God to forgive and forget the past misdeeds, for the solidarity of Zeliangrong consanguinity, peace and prosperity, and for all the executive members of Zeliangrong Baudi.This referred to the Resolution No. 4 of the 5th Dimki/ Assembly Session at Nchurelo village, Mahur in Assam, dated December 6, 2013, and Resolution No. 1 of the Central executive meeting at Tamzaham, Senapati district in Manipur, dated February 8. The 1st Zeliangrong Prayer Day will be observed on February 23, 2014, in all the Zeliangrong inhabited areas irrespective of different denominations of Christianity, Heraka, Tingkao Raguang Chapriak (TRC), traditional Pou-Pei Chapriak, Champa and other faiths. The Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) has appealed to all the churches, parish, TRC kalumkai, Pou-Pei Chapriak, Champa pei, youth club, women societies to observe the day in any possible manner.
