Zeliangrong org warns Peren contractors from shirking work

The Zeliangrong Baudi has warned contractors working in Peren against shirking work norms, using inferior raw materials or ‘poor workmanship’ while undertaking contracts. The organization issued a press release today urging all the contractors and contracting firms executing work under Peren district to “be vigilant and to sincerely carry out their work according to the lay down rules and regulation of the government norms.”
“Time and again Zeliangrong Baudi has found out in certain area using under quality raw materials in construction work expecting the road to be in deplorable and pathetic within one year of completion of their work.
This kind of workmanship amounts to undermining the hospitality bestow upon to any contractor/firms and suppliers by the people of Peren district for smooth development,” the Zeliangrong organization stated.
“The present situation and condition of the roads and some deplorable government quarters are the glaring example of poor workmanship and under-rated raw materials used for the constructions.”
The Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland shall remain vigilant of contractors and firms and suppliers working in different departments.
The organization has cautioned that anyone found “neglecting in discharging their best quality of workmanship and services as per the norms shall be dealt seriously.”
The ‘hoho’ said it would undertake ‘surprise visits and inspection’ in different places under Peren district where developmental activities are being carried out.
“Zeliangrong Baudi also reaffirmed its commitment for cooperation and support in any manner for the smooth development of Peren district and to the welfare of the people.”
