Zeliang suggests Naga heritage museum in Delhi

Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): Chief Minister, TR Zeliang has proposed to establish a Naga heritage museum in Delhi to showcase ‘the history, collection of books and artefacts of different tribes of Nagaland’, according to a DIPR report.
Zeliang was reported as submitting this proposal to Union Minister of State of Cultural Affairs, Dr. Mahesh Sharma during a breakfast hosted by the chief minister on Friday morning. He also apprised Sharma on the need for a “World War Museum in Delhi”, according to the report. Zeliang was reported as informing the union minister of the ongoing construction of Academy Hall at Kohima. While regretting the absence of proper Academy Hall in the state, Zeliang informed that he had requested for fund from Art and Culture ministry to complete ‘the unfinished construction’.
