Dimapur, March 9 (EMN): Leader of Opposition, TR Zeliang inaugurated the new GPS/GMS (Government Primary School / Government Middle School) building at Kejanglwa village under Peren district on Saturday, March 9 in the presence of a host of NPF party workers and area leaders.
“We are way beyond the rest of the Nagas and it is time we work harder especially in the education sector,” said Zeliang during the function according to an update received here on Saturday. Lauding villagers for the efforts in the construction of the new school building, he said that it showed their unity and common commitment for the cause of education in the area.
Mentioning other projects in the area, he stated that it was the duty of the villagers to look into their protection and proper preservation. He also called upon the parents, teachers and students to work together while urging youths to pursue their career in other field apart from government services, informed the update.
