Zale Neikha inaugurates Viswema badminton stadium

Kohima, Oct. 25 (PTI): Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, Zale Neikha, on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed Viswema Badminton Stadium at Phu in Viswema village.

The stadium, an iconic project, was constructed under Local Area Development Programme 2020-21.

Addressing the inaugural programme, Neikha highlighted the various developments and achievements of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

Prevalence of peace and unity is must for smooth development to happen, he said while calling upon the villagers to have better coordination and understanding for all-round development.

Also informing that Kezoma town is being recognised as ‘Kezoma Urban Station.’ he said the chief minister will inaugurate it on October 28.

Earlier, Neikha also unveiled the plaque of the new stadium.

Later, Advisor Neikha also participated in the exhibition match.
