Dimapur, Nov. 18 (EMN): Zack Snyder’s Justice League will include 2 and a half-hour of unseen footage, the director revealed during a Q&A breakdown of the new Justice League teaser on the social media platform, Vero.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League, also known as ‘The Snyder Cut,’ is a revamped and re-edited version of the original 2017 theatrical release. After the 2017 Justice League bombed at the box-office, fans campaigned relentlessly for the re-release of the original version from the director, Zack Snyder. The campaign made a lot of noise, so much so that Warner Bros. announced back in May that the Snyder Cut will be released on the streaming platform, HBO Max.

Snyder’s version of Justice League is going to be more than 4 hours long and it will be released as a mini-series with four episodes. The director has revealed during a Q&A breakdown of the new Justice League teaser on the social media platform, Vero that the series will include a mouth-watering 2 and a half-hour of previously unseen footage.

During the interview, Snyder said, “I am excited for you guys to see the giant amount of movie that you have coming your way in 2021 on HBO Max. Don’t also forget that it is probably a solid 2 and a half-hour of unseen footage, I would imagine something like that, and so, that is going to be fun I think for everyone to experience.”

Apart from the addition of special effects and tweaks to the scenes, an additional four minutes of new scenes was shot for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The new reshoots include scenes for Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Amber Heard (Mera), Jared Leto (The Joker) and Joe Manganiello (Deathstroke). The main antagonist in the movie, Steppenwolf has also been re-designed along with the inclusion of a new villain, Darkseid.

The exact release date for Zack Snyder’s Justice League has not been revealed yet apart from the fact that it is expected to launch on HBO Max next year. But, one thing is for sure, DC fans will finally get to see Zack Snyder’s original vision for the Justice League universe and so far the trailers have not been disappointing.
