YWCA plants trees to spread message on creating greener world

Dimapur, Aug. 16 (EMN): To spread the message and mission of "creating a greener world for the ones of today and for the ones of tomorrow," the Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) of Dimapur cleaned a park near Rama Krishna Mission at Duncan Bosti and planted some medicinal plants and fruit tree saplings.

In an update, the association informed that in 2019, the YWCA of India had committed to observe August 15 as a day for tree plantation and made it a yearly mandate to take serious steps towards climate change.

The association members led by its president planted tulsi and mango plant, it informed.
