Youths complete training at Don Bosco Tech Aida

Dimapur, Oct 1. (EMN): Don Bosco Tech Aida centre organised a graduation ceremony for ‘batch 30’ of its ‘Skill Training for Unemployed Youth’ on September 28, a press release informed.

Sabu Joseph, principal of Bosco College of Teacher Education, Dimapur, exhorted the graduating trainees to “prepare mentally as you are going to face many tough challenges,” it read. He congratulated the trainees on successfully completing the training and added that they were “fortunate to have Don Bosco Tech AIDA in order to get them trained and get a good job placement.”

“You are not only prepared to take up a job but also your personality in terms of improving your self-confidence, facing people and overcoming stage fright,” he said.

Amos Ekka, state coordinator (Operation), Don Bosco Tech, Dimapur region while addressing the gathering appreciated the parents for sending their children for the skill training. “Everyone is in a learning process so as you step out to the real work make a good name for yourself, for family and for the institute with right attitude,” he encouraged.

Most of the trainees were from economically poor background with minimum education qualification. “However,75 days of intense training has prepared them to work in corporate environment,” it read.

Don Bosco Tech AIDA centre will start batch 31 on October 9 2019. Training is provided in food and beverages service steward and assistant beauty therapist.
