YouthNet, YR&S dept. to organise career fair in Kohima, Chümoukedima

DIMAPUR — YouthNet and Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, will be organising ‘LaunchPad Education and Career Fair 2023’ for students who recently appeared their HSSLC exam 2023.

The fair is the last leg of the LaunchPad series and it will be organised in Kohima and Chümoukedima, informed YouthNet in an update.

In Kohima, the fair will be held at Capital Convention Centre on April 14 from 10 am to 11 am, with Advisor, School Education & SCERT, Kekhrie Yhome as guest of honour.

The fair in Chümoukedima will be held at Tetso College, Sovima (5th Mile) on April 15 from 9 am to 10 am, with Advisor, Industries & Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu as guest of honour.

“LaunchPad is explicitly designed for students pursuing their 12th Standard in all Government Higher Secondary Schools across Nagaland with the aim to empower the youth by providing them career guidance and build their employability skills,” YouthNet stated.

The Government of Nagaland identified LaunchPad under the State Innovation Scheme in 2021 and supports its continuation this academic year too, it stated.
